Contrary to an ESPN report that the Tennessee Titans will interview former Dallas Cowboys wide receivers coach Ray Sherman, Sherman told the Tennessean that's news to him.
According to the report, Sherman hasn't spoken with the AFC South franchise.
Sherman would have fulfilled the Rooney Rule requirement.
He was fired by the Cowboys after interviewing with them for the head coaching position that went to Jason Garrett.
Sherman is a former Titans wide receivers coach.
Offensive line coach Mike Munchak is regarded as the frontrunner to land the job. The Titans have interviewed him and offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger.
