Either some prominent NFL owners thought Friday would be a wonderful time to tour the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center, or they chose to skedaddle to the west side of Indianapolis for a meeting.

According to an NFL source, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft were among those spotted at the Colts training complex on Friday. Surely, they weren’t there to make a social call on Colts owner Jim Irsay. There is plenty of time, too, for Jones to share his list of Super Bowl do's and don'ts with Irsay, who will host XLVI here at Lucas Oil Stadium next February.

By getting away from the spotlight of downtown during the NFL scouting combine, they could meet privately. What happened in the meeting? Use your best guess. We’d imagine owners were reviewing information from the week-long meetings with the NFLPA in Washington and plotting the next move.
