Oklahoma wide receiver Cameron Kenney boosted his stock today with NFL scouts, running the 40-yard dash in 4.50 seconds at the Sooners' campus Pro Day workout, according to an NFL source with knowledge of the situation.
Kenney also registered a 35 1/2 inch vertical leap, a 10-9 broad jump and a 4.09 in the 20-yard shuttle.
The 6-foot, 195-pounder averaged 16.7 yards on his 33 receptions last season, scoring four touchdowns and generating 544 receiving yards.
In two seasons at Oklahoma, the junior college transfer caught 55 passes for 812 yards and five touchdowns.
In the Fiesta Bowl, Kenney caught seven passes for 154 yards and one touchdown.
Once graded as a free agent, he's expected to draw late round consideration.
Kenney is represented by agent Marty Magid, who also reps Dallas Cowboys linebacker Mike Balogun, a former Oklahoma linebacker who was with the Buffalo Bills for his rookie season.
