SAN FRANCISCO (AP) —Wide receivers Dez Bryant of the Cowboys and the 49ers’ Michael Crabtree are among the teams’ inactive players for Sunday’s game.
Dallas had hoped to have Bryant back from a thigh injury in time for Sunday’s game with San Francisco at Candlestick Park despite the fact he didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday.
Crabtree is nursing a troublesome, surgically repaired left foot that he aggravated again in Week 1. The 10th overall pick in 2009 out Texas Tech was limited in practice this week after he missed his third straight training camp. He played into the third quarter in last Sunday’s 33-17 victory over Seattle.
Dallas cornerback Terence Newman also missed the game with a groin injury, while San Francisco safety was out nursing a sore knee.
