Chicago's Offensive Coordinator Mike Martz is reunited with his former WR. Roy Williams has signed a deal with the Chicago Bears. Roy Williams was released by the Dallas Cowboys this past Tuesday. Williams, was one of 5 players cut Tuesday by Dallas Cowboys Owner and GM, Jerry Jones.
Williams was brought to the Cowboys in 2008 with a trade with the Detroit Lions. Multiple draft picks were given to Detroit and Williams was expected to give the Cowboys the number 1 receiver they craved. After 2 and a half less than productive seasons the Cowboys parted ways 1 day after the NFL Lockout ended.
Williams showed flashes of greatness but was never consistent through out his stint in Dallas.
