Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay is known for his sense of humor and unconventional views.
And Irsay isn't above having a bit of fun with his fellow owners, taking a dig at Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones following the Super Bowl debacle where ticket holders were displaced and there weren't enough seats. There's a pending lawsuit on the matter.
Expressing confidence that Indianapolis will host the Super Bowl as scheduled on Feb. 5, Irsay told reporters at today's league meeting in Atlanta: "We've got our snowplows ready and our seats counted."
Ouch.
No word yet from whether Jones is in tune with Irsay's sense of humor and was amused, but even Jones would concede that mistakes were made at the Texas Super Bowl.
