JERRY JONES BELIEVES MILES AUSTIN WILL RETURN SUNDAY

Miles Austin did not practice Monday when the Dallas Cowboys returned to work after a long weekend following their Thanksgiving Day appearance, but the wide receiver could return in time for Sunday’s game at Arizona.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he expects Austin to play against the Cardinals at University of Phoenix, according to ESPN Dallas. Austin has missed three consecutive days with a hamstring injury.

"I do, yes," Jones said on KRLD-FM in Dallas earlier today. "But I don't know. I saw him yesterday and he was moving around real well. (He) said he could go Sunday, but we'll see how this week goes along.
"We don't want to push that, because we've got a lot of football ahead of us. By the same token, we could use him. We've missed him."

Multiple hamstring issues have sidelined Austin for five of the team’s 11 games this season. They are 4-1 without him and Laurent Robinson has quickly made a name for himself filling in. Robinson has seven touchdown receptions in the last five games and has gone over 100 yards twice, quickly developing chemistry with quarterback Tony Romo.

Surely, the Cowboys will look to keep Robinson involved when Austin does make it back. Dallas will likely be cautious, too, because Austin might have been rushed back the first time.
