ARLINGTON, Texas (AP)—A spokeswoman for photography service Getty Images says one of its photographers was among those injured Friday when sheets of ice fell from Cowboys Stadium in Dallas.
Police have said at least six people taken to a hospital after the ice fell. The NFL says the injured include private contractors it hired to prepare the stadium for Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers. One man was hit in the head, another in the shoulder. None of the injuries was considered life-threatening.
Getty Images spokeswoman Alison Crombie says photographer Win McNamee also was among those hurt.
