Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Miami Dolphins had released running back Larry Johnson.
It turns out tha the 0-2 Dolphins also terminated the contract of tight end Dante Rosario and signed two veterans to try and bolster a shaky defense.
Miami signed veteran defensive tackle Igor Olshansky, who has previously played for the San Diego Chargers and Dallas Cowboys. The Dolphins also picked up cornerback Nate Jones for a second tour of duty in Miami, where he spent the 2008 and 2009 seasons. Jones has also spent time with the Cowboys and Denver Broncos.
