DeSean Jackson admitted earlier this season his No. 1 goal when he steps on the field is to remain healthy.

That, of course, is driven by his desire to cash in with a new long-term contract.

Perhaps this Sunday he will be motivated by the opportunity to show Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan up.

Jackson is still hacked off from this summer when Ryan called the Eagles an “all-hype” team and said the Cowboys would “beat their ass.”

“For a coach to really say that, it's hard for me to kind of respect that because the coach is not really out there playing," Jackson said, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. "If his players said that, then I could understand that. We're out there on the field with him so I would be able to get a chance to get a shot at that player if he said something crazy.

"But for a coach, it ain't like I can run on the sideline and tackle the coach."

Jackson, of course, has been known to tweak people in this NFC East rivalry. So what comes around, goes around. We’ll see what comes on Sunday in a must-win game for the Birds.
