The 2-3 Dallas Cowboys are having a tough time getting a consistent ground game going this year and now running back Felix Jones will be out of the picture for the next 2-4 weeks with a high ankle sprain, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Jones went down in the second quarter of Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots and was replaced by rookie DeMarco Murray rather than Tashard Choice, the News reports. The word is that Choice is on the trading block.
The paper notes that the footwear choice for Jones, who has gained 255 yards and scored one touchdown on 64 carries this season, involved a walking boot. Not a good sign.
