The Miami Dolphins are slowly lifting the stench of an 0-7 start, having won three straight headed into Thursday's Thanksgiving Day game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Of late, Matt Moore's play at quarterback, and whether he is the solution or a flash in the pan, has been the new debate in South Florida. But the old debate, the one involving Coach Tony Sparano's job security, is still looming.

Miami Herald columnist Greg Cote believes Dolphins owner Stephen Ross will still make a change at head coach, forcing Sparano out, unless Miami somehow wins out, finishes 9-7 and sneaks into the playoffs.

Anything less, Cote says, is probably grounds for change in Ross' mind. Currently, Dolphins players say they believe much of the blame for the team's poor start lies with them, not Sparano.

“It hurts because we feel like we let him down,” safety Yeremiah Bell said Monday.

Said receiver Brian Hartline: “Guys, myself included, think he deserves so much more.”
