Surely you didn't think our golf blog, Devil Ball Golf, were the only golf freaks getting into the NFL spirit. The Golf Channel is spending an entire month doing original NFL programming, and their first installment, named "Hunter vs. Punter," airs tonight, but we have a sneak peak of the footage.
Basically, three-time PGA Tour winner Hunter Mahan (who married an ex-Dallas Cowboys cheerleader) is playing a H-O-R-S-E-like game against ex-Cowboys kicker Mike Saxon. David Feherty emcees the event, and here is a small taste of what they did at Cowboys Stadium.
Not bad, right? Honestly, with that punt ending up so close to the goal line, teams might be flooding Mahan's agent with calls towards the end of the season.
