If there was any bad blood brewing between NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth and New York Giants defensive back Antrel Rolle that has been cleared up.

Rolle took exception to a comment Collinsworth made in Week 14 last month when Rolle and teammate Corey Webster got crossed up on a play and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant scored easily on a 50-yard play.

During the call of the game on the national broadcast, Collinsworth said Rolle was “barbecued,” a more colorful description of being burnt. Rolle was not happy with that characterization in the days following the game and made his feeling known.

Collinsworth was at Giants practice Friday, gearing up for Super Bowl XLVI, and according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger, the two had a cordial chat that made it clear everything is resolved. The men shook hands.

"We’re cool," Rolle said. "Like I said man, there’s no hard feelings in this league. Sometimes people want to take things and put spin on it or whatever the case may be, but there’s no hard feelings. We’ve always gotten along.

"Same thing with your brothers and sisters. If you have a disagreement that doesn’t mean you fall out forever. We didn’t have a falling out, just a disagreement. I said what I said, he said what he said. It’s over with. We’re both men. We can take it."
